Overview

Max:Bot from DFRobot is a DIY programmable robot kit designed to help beginners explore robotics, coding, and hands-on building. It uses the micro:bit platform and gives kids a practical way to experiment with movement, sensing, and simple robot behaviors.

The kit includes more than 10 electronic modules and can be expanded with 50+ DFRobot Boson modules. Its aluminum structure is meant to be assembled by the user, and the included learning materials guide beginners through tasks such as music playback, line tracking, obstacle avoidance, distance sensing, and communication between Max:Bot units.

Programming is supported through Scratch, MakeCode, Python, and JavaScript on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. The kit is positioned for STEM learning, classroom use, and beginner robotics projects.
