Overview

The DFRobot Beetle ESP32 is a very small microcontroller board built for compact electronics projects. Its 35 mm x 34 mm form factor and gold-plated sewable I/O pads make it especially convenient for wearables and space-limited designs.

Based on a Tensilica LX6 dual-core processor running at 240 MHz, the board includes 520 KB of SRAM and 16 Mbit of flash memory. It also combines Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, so it can support wireless applications without adding separate modules.

Programming can be done directly through the Micro USB port, and the board can be powered from 5V USB or through the VIN pin with 3.5-6.5V input. Available interfaces include 4 digital pins, 4 analog pins, one I2C interface, and one UART serial port.
