Overview

The DFRobot Arduino grayscale sensor is designed to detect reflected light levels across a black-to-white range. It uses a photocell together with an onboard white LED to help compare surface reflectivity and output grayscale values.

With a supply range of 3.3V to 5V and an analog interface, this sensor can be used in basic light-sensing projects such as automatic lighting, line-following robots, and simple light-based signaling experiments.

The module includes a connector designed for improved durability, plus clear A/D interface markings and a compact board layout for easier integration into Arduino setups.
