Unlock Precise Temperature Detection with Arduino LM35 Sensor!
Overview
The DFRobot Gravity Analog LM35 Temperature Sensor is a simple, low-cost option for reading ambient air temperature with Arduino, ESP32, and other microcontroller boards. It uses the LM35 semiconductor sensor and provides a linear analog output, making it a useful choice for learning how analog temperature sensing works.
Because the sensor outputs 10 mV per degree Celsius, you can read temperature directly through a microcontroller ADC without needing I2C, UART, or a separate sensor library. It is designed for basic indoor temperature monitoring and classroom electronics projects.
The sensor supports 3.3V to 5V operation and includes a Gravity connector plus an analog cable for easier wiring. Its stated functional range is 0°C to 100°C, and it is intended for dry indoor ambient air measurements.
