Transform Your Projects: Arduino Capacitive Touch Sensor
Overview
This DFRobot capacitive touch sensor adds a simple touch-based input to Arduino projects, giving you an easy alternative to a mechanical button. It uses capacitive sensing, the same general touch principle found in many phones and modern touch devices.
The sensor can detect a finger touch and can also respond through thin insulating materials such as cloth or paper, though sensitivity may drop as the covering gets thicker. It outputs a digital high/low signal for straightforward use in interactive builds.
For easier integration, it uses DFRobot’s Gravity interface and is designed to work with 3.3V to 5V systems. That makes it suitable for Arduino projects and other compatible platforms that support digital input.
