Overview

EcoDuino is a plant-care automation kit from DFRobot built around Arduino-compatible hardware. It combines sensors, a controller, and a pump to help monitor growing conditions and water plants automatically.

The updated version includes a new enclosure for splash protection, an Atmega32U4 controller with Micro USB programming support, and direct support for the DS18B20 sensor. It is designed to collect data such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, and soil moisture, then use that information to trigger watering when needed or at set intervals.

EcoDuino can also work with wireless communication for remote status messages, and it supports Arduino development workflows. The kit includes the control board, enclosure, moisture sensor, DHT11 sensor, tubing, pump, battery holder, USB cable, and basic tools listed by the manufacturer.
