HCR Mobile Robot Platform with Encoder Motors and Sensors
Overview
The DFRobot HCR Mobile Robot Platform is a three-level, two-wheel-drive chassis built for robotics development, autonomous navigation research, and advanced prototyping. It combines an aluminum frame with mounting space for controllers, sensors, and computing hardware.
The platform uses 12V low-noise DC motors with encoders, which can support speed feedback, odometry, and closed-loop control experiments. Large 13 cm wheels and a rear omni-directional caster help the robot move smoothly during indoor testing and navigation projects.
This mobile base is designed for sensor-rich builds and includes support for multiple distance sensors. The listed package includes a Romeo V1 robotic controller and Sharp GP2Y0A21 distance sensors, and the chassis can also accommodate additional robotics electronics and computing modules.
