Unlock Light Detection with Gravity Analog Sensor for Arduino!

Overview

The DFRobot Gravity analog ambient light sensor measures ambient brightness and sends an analog signal to a controller for light-based projects and automation.

It works with 3.3V to 5V systems and is compatible with Arduino, ESP32, micro:bit, RP2040, and Raspberry Pi. For Raspberry Pi use, an external ADC module is required because the board does not include built-in analog input.

The sensor uses a Gravity connector for solder-free wiring and includes two screw holes for mounting. It can be used with graphical programming platforms such as Mind+ and MakeCode.

  • Analog light sensing for brightness detection
  • 3.3V to 5V supply support
  • Compatible with common controllers including Arduino and ESP32
  • Gravity interface for easy connection
  • Mounting holes for fixed installation
  • 1 to 6000 lux range and 15 us response time

Specifications should be verified on the official manufacturer page.
