Overview

The DFRobot URM37 V5.0 is an ultrasonic distance sensor module designed for use with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and LattePanda. It includes built-in temperature compensation to help improve measurement consistency in changing environments.

This version offers multiple output options, including analog, PWM, serial, and switch output. The serial interface can be set to TTL or RS232 level, and the module supports power supply from 3.3V to 5.5V.

According to the manufacturer, the V5.0 keeps compatibility with older URM37 mechanical dimensions, pin layout, and communication commands while extending the sensing range to 2 to 800 cm. It can also be used with an external servo for scanning applications.
